EDCO Products · Interlocking Metal Shingle Roofing

Infiniti® Textured Steel Shake Roofing

A textured, matte steel shake with a thermal-fused particle finish that hides the sheen metal usually has.

How I think about this one

The textured finish is for people who do not want the roof to read as metal at all — no sheen, no oil-canning to catch the eye. It costs a little more than the smooth-finish shingles. Same four-side interlock underneath.

What it costs, and why

Installed, most Infiniti® Textured Steel Shake Roofing roofs we put on land between $1,250–$1,700 per square. A square is 100 square feet of roof, and that figure includes tearing off one layer of shingles.

Where yours lands depends on the roof more than the product. A second layer to tear off, soft decking we only find once the old roof is open, a steep pitch, and a lot of valleys, dormers, chimneys and skylights all push it up. A simple, walkable roof with one layer sits near the low end.

This is a range, not a quote. I would not give you a real number without seeing the roof, and I would be careful with anyone who does. If the up-front number is the whole question, how a metal roof costs out over thirty years is the better place to start.

Installed price per square in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan, last reviewed 2026-09-28.
