How I think about this one
If you want a tile roof on a house that was never framed for the weight of clay, this is how you get the look. Read the stone-coated system page first — the water management is different from a standing seam or an interlocking shingle, and that is the whole decision.
What it costs, and why
Installed, most Antica roofs we put on land between $1,350–$1,850 per square. A square is 100 square feet of roof, and that figure includes tearing off one layer of shingles.
Where yours lands depends on the roof more than the product. A second layer to tear off, soft decking we only find once the old roof is open, a steep pitch, and a lot of valleys, dormers, chimneys and skylights all push it up. A simple, walkable roof with one layer sits near the low end.
This is a range, not a quote. I would not give you a real number without seeing the roof, and I would be careful with anyone who does. If the up-front number is the whole question, how a metal roof costs out over thirty years is the better place to start.
